Beautiful teeth – More zest for life

Hearty laughter is the best medicine. It's a pity if you have to refrain from laughing in order to conceal defective, crooked or discoloured teeth. Aesthetic dental medicine provides virtually unlimited correction and treatment possibilities. For example: Inlays, partial crowns, crowns, bridges and veneers made of biocompatible, tooth-coloured ceramics. Prostheses and dental restorations can be realistically recreated through individual tooth colour and tooth shape determination.

Aesthetic dental corrections through ceramic veneers

There is no need to tolerate dental defects in the anterior tooth region. As they are often quite easy to correct. We correct discoloured, crooked or chipped teeth in the anterior tooth region with wafer-thin ceramic shells (veneers). The natural tooth is preserved and its beauty restored. Veneers are permanently affixed to the natural tooth with only a very small loss of tooth substance.

This innovative technique makes it possible to give you a perfect – yet natural – smile. Due to the thin bond between tooth and veneer, there is an aesthetic, translucent unit that is far superior to a crown with a metal core. Veneers also have sufficient hardness, elasticity and wear resistance. At the same time, the ceramic shells can be designed very individually, thus enhancing the natural look of the teeth.

Inlays & Onlays made from ceramic

Highly aesthetic, high quality, functional. In many cases, a resin filling no longer makes sense due to the loss of too much sound tooth structure, but a crown is too invasive. In this case, an inlay – or the onlay where there is a loss of the dental cusp – is used.

With extensive defects, inlays and onlays can restore the aesthetics, function and stability of the tooth. They are very durable so the tooth is permanently sustained. In most cases, inlays and onlays are used in the posterior region. In the laboratory, the dental technician can optimally design the tooth shape and the contact point to the adjacent tooth, something that is often no longer feasible with a large filling. The inlay and onlay are far superior to the filling in terms of shape, colour and stability.

Nowadays, inlays and onlays are almost exclusively made from ceramic. Ceramic does not trigger any allergies, has a similar thermal conductivity to tooth enamel and meets the highest aesthetic requirements.

Bleaching – Discoloured teeth become light again

Over the course of time, teeth can become discoloured from coffee, tea or cigarettes, for example. The deposited substances can often no longer be removed with the toothbrush alone. We use a special, pain-free and gentle bleaching process to lighten your teeth again – with visible success.

We use 2 treatment methods of teeth whitening in our surgery. Conveniently at home or more quickly and under observation (inspection) in the dental surgery. Both methods are quite safe. Extensive scientific and clinical studies have shown that teeth whitening with carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide is harmless for teeth and gums. Simply ask our surgery team which bleaching method would be suitable for you so that it is as comfortable as possible.

Internal bleaching of root canal-treated teeth

Root canal-treated teeth can change their colour due to the root filling material or other factors and can be aesthetically unattractive, especially in the anterior region of the mouth.

With internal bleaching – also called "walking bleaching technique" – these teeth can be whitened and optically reintegrated into the dentition without the need for invasive measures such as crowning the tooth.
This requires a bleaching agent to be placed directly in the crown of the tooth for three to four days, which can then unfold its effect under a tight fitting seal. This process is repeated until the desired level of whiteness is achieved.
